June 7th AND June 8th young advocates from across the region will meet to talk about how we can stand together and end tobacco use among youth! We invite youth to be a part of an exchange of ideas with fellow young advocates about new and fresh ways to use your voice to build a healthier world.
We'll hearing from leaders in the tobacco movement about what work is being done to achieve a tobacco free generation and what you can do in your own community to make a difference. Experts on a broad range of tobacco and advocacy issues will discuss how corporations and others market to specific demographics - including youth - so they can sell products which can impact health in the short and long term. Then, take these lessons and put them into action as you help create efforts to curb tobacco use in you community. But - that's not all. There will be fun activities, giveaways, and special guests coming, so you won’t want to miss this!
