Why is House Bill 1140 important? The post-delivery period is a time of vulnerability for new mothers. Indiana HB 1140 extends the current 60-day Medicaid benefit post-delivery to one full year, ensuring new moms have continuous, uninterrupted access to care to address their ongoing health needs. Upon the Governor's signing, the law will go into effect April 1, 2022.

THANK YOU for being a voice for a healthier Hoosier State!
