Interim Committee Accepts Testimony on Medicaid Expansion in Wyoming

Good news on Medicaid Expansion from Wyoming!

In May, the legislature’s joint interim Revenue committee accepted comments and testimony regarding a bill that if passed and signed next year by the governor would expand Medicaid in Wyoming.

The committee approved its sponsorship of the bill, which means in February 2022 it will ask that Medicaid Expansion be introduced to the legislature, referred to committee and approved by a majority of the members of the Wyoming house and senate.

This is great news for Wyoming and the 30,000 or so people who do not have health care coverage in our beautiful state – something everyone needs.
