Welcome to the new and improved You’re the Cure website. I’m Clarissa, and I have had the privilege of overseeing the You’re the Cure program for the past seven years. You may recognize my name from our emails.
Admittedly, it’s been a selfish relationship over the past several years because you get to hear from me, but I rarely to get to hear from you. That’s why I’m so excited about the features of the new site, which encourage more dialogue and interaction between AHA and advocates.
To get started, take just a moment to create a log-in and password – this allows us to provide you with information specific to your region and on the issues you care about.
After signing up, take our Champion survey to tell us the ways you want to be involved. And of course, there are lots of things you can do on the site to start having an impact right away:
- Visit our Action Center to find out what heart and stroke issues need your help most urgently.
- Read our Pulse Blog for the latest on heart and stroke news in your area. Let us know what you think by leaving a comment!
- Join the thousands of other advocates who have shared their experiences with heart disease or stroke on our Advocate Stories page.
And now for the best part: when you take action on the site, you’ll earn points to help you climb up the advocate ranks. We hope you’ll keep visiting the site and take action both online and in your communities. And don’t forget to tell you friends via social media!
Thanks for being the cure for heart disease and stroke!
