February is American Heart Month and the first Friday of February is National Wear Red Day. Wear red on February 5 to help raise awareness that cardiovascular disease remains the leading killer of women, and start your own fundraiser.
We invite you to join us for our online Rock Your Red event, a special and fun filled hour together on February 16, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm MST, from the comfort of your home!
Heart disease and stroke know no boundaries. They affect women of all ages and races and their families. Those women who do live with it are just like you and me – key decision makers, active in the community, wives, mothers, sisters and friends.
To raise awareness, the American Heart Association and strategic partners created Go Red for Women. This campaign empowers women to take charge of their heart and brain health by arming them with the knowledge needed to make healthier lifestyle choices, and to raise awareness among their peers. Registration is open; men and women are welcome.
Go Red when you shop! These stores are raising funds and awareness during Heart Month: CVS Health on Feb. 1 – 28 and Big Lots! on Feb. 1 – 14.
