We Did It!

You have probably already heard the news, but we are excited to share with you Measure 103 was soundly rejected by Oregon voters earlier this month.

The YES campaign tried to deceive voters with claims that Measure 103 was about stopping a tax on groceries, but an unprecedented coalition of more than 150 organizations came together to oppose the initiative!

If the measure had passed it would have provided tax exemptions for products like e-cigarettes and sugary drinks, while taking away local control from communities to make sound, effective policy decisions.

We want to thank you for all you did to defeat Measure 103.

We are excited about the legislative session in 2019 and we hope we can count on your continued support as we work to create a healthier Oregon.
