We're Number...50!?

On March 21st, youth around the country gathered for Kick Butts Day events.  They advocated for various policy changes to protect kids from the tobacco industry.  In Ohio, they told legislators Ohio is number 50!

Currently, Ohio is ranked number 50, as in last, for funding for tobacco prevention and cessation programming.  To emphasize the message, the student delivered foam #50 hands to legislators.

They were joined by former OSU and NFL football players, who helped them deliver the message.  James Cotton spoke to the audience during the press event about his strong views regarding tobacco prevention.

The students also delivered a giant postcard to Governor Kasich urging him to support tobacco prevention funding.
