Washington County Becomes the First County in Oregon to restrict the sales of flavored tobacco products

We am excited to share that on November 2 Washington County Commissioners voted 3 to 2 to restrict the sale of ALL flavored tobacco products in ALL places in the county! Washington County is the first county in Oregon to take this bold and important step to reduce the number of young people using and becoming addicted to these enticing flavored products!

We extend our most sincere thanks to Kathryn Harrington, Chair Washington County OR, Nafisa Fai, Commissioner District 1 Washington County OR, and Commissioner Pamela Holzmann Treece for their support of this important initiative!

Enforcement of the ordinance will start January 1, 2022.
