Volunteer Spotlight: Rain or Shine, Our Volunteers Rock!

Typically, we spotlight one volunteer who has gone above and beyond for the mission of the American Heart Association. This month we find ourselves with a group of Heart Walk volunteers in Oklahoma that showed up and showed out to help the AHA build a community free of cardiovascular disease and stroke regardless of the weather that put a cloud over the Sooner State!

To all of the Heart Walk advocacy volunteers in Oklahoma City and Tulsa that made their way out in the rain bearing umbrellas and rain boots to talk heart-healthy policy with walkers equally empowered to brave the storms we shine a light on your tireless efforts and truly can't thank you enough. You guys are the best!
