Let's Turn the State Capitol Red on Feb 21!

Tennessee Heart Day on the Hill will be on February 21.

You're invited to attend the American Heart Association's Tennessee Heart Day on the Hill 2018!

This is an annual free event, gathering You're the Cure advocates from across Tennessee to flood the State Capitol red in support of fighting heart disease and stroke through policy change. This year, advocates will urge lawmakers to:

  • Permit local communities to pass smoke-free laws;
  • Ensure elementary students receive at least 60 minutes of physical education each week; and
  • Improve care for patients experiencing a stroke or STEMI heart attack, once 911 is called.

Participants will have the chance to learn more about these issues, meet one-on-one with their legislators, and even meet with Lt. Governor Randy McNally (R-Oak Ridge) and Sen. Bill Ketron (R-Murfreesboro). We know it is a packed day, so breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Space is limited. Make sure to register today! Details will be sent upon registration.

*The listed time is in the central time zone.
