As the year draws to a close, it's a time for reflection, gratitude, and giving. One of the most impactful ways to make a difference is by contributing to organizations that have personally touched our lives. The American Heart Association (AHA) is one such organization that has had a profound impact on my family.
The AHA has been at the forefront of cardiovascular research and education since its inception in 1924. Our mission is to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives. The AHA funds innovative research, fights for stronger public health policies, and provides critical tools and information to save and improve lives.
Thanks to the AHA's work, my father is alive today. My father underwent open heart surgery in a hospital that is a recipient of the American Heart Association’s Get with The Guidelines® Gold Plus Heart Failure Achievement Award and received a Gold Seal of Approval for Cardiac Care.
Why Donate to the AHA?
- Support Groundbreaking Research:The AHA is the largest non-governmental funder of cardiovascular research in the U.S. Your donation can help fund the next breakthrough in heart disease and stroke prevention and treatment.
- Promote Health Education:The AHA provides resources and programs to help people live healthier lives. Your contribution can support these initiatives, helping to educate people about heart-healthy habits and lifesaving CPR techniques.
- Advocate for Public Health:The AHA fights for policies that protect heart and brain health in the community. Your donation can help them continue this important work by building education and training local advocates on these policies.
As we approach the end of the year, consider making a tax-deductible donation to the AHA. Your contribution can make a real difference in the fight against heart disease and stroke. Remember, every donation, no matter how small, can help save lives.
In the spirit of giving, let's end the year on a high note by supporting the American Heart Association. Together, we can make a difference.
