This holiday season, helping hearts everywhere

As the end of the year approaches, we know you’ve got lots of giving to do. Finding the right gifts for friends and family is inevitably a big part of all our Decembers. When you make a year-end contribution to the American Heart Association, you’re helping us fight against the first and fourth largest killers in the country – heart disease and stroke – and giving a gift that will help us touch millions of lives in the process. As you know, life is why we do the work we do, and why we hope you’ll contribute today and help us achieve our ambitions goals heading into 2015 and beyond.

Your contribution will help drive world-class research; local, state, and national education campaigns; advocacy efforts like You’re the Cure to push for the policies that lead to better public health; and improved patient care for all, particularly among populations who are at higher risk of heart disease and stroke. You can also customize your donation to give what works best for you: either a one-time or monthly gift, which you can give in honor or memoriam of someone close to you who opened your eyes to the importance of heart health.

Helping the American Heart Association to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular disease and stroke, is no small task. That’s why we’re honored that you’d consider making a contribution and giving the gift of heart health to so many. And if you’re unable to donate now, please consider one of the many other ways you can give during this holiday season. Thank you.
