The Doctor is In!

"Boy, I have to tell you, I'm a Republican and have not been for this Obamacare thing at all...But if these numbers are anywhere close to correct I am ALL FOR IT NOW!"

"Oh My God... that's amazing! ...So, why exactly are people so angry about this?"

Those are two quotes from Maine residents who called Consumers for Affordable Health Care to get information on how to participate in the Affordable Care Act’s Health Insurance Marketplace.  I am sure similar things were said all across the country.  Other than a few glitches, the Health Insurance Marketplace is up and running today.  People who do not have affordable health insurance from their employer, or aren’t already on Medicare or Medicaid now have access to great new insurance products at prices they can afford.

If you need health insurance, or if your friends or family (or barber, or mechanic or friendly neighborhood waiter) are uninsured, point them to www.Enroll207.com  or www.healthcare.gov.  If they don’t have access to the internet, they can call Consumers for Affordable Health Care at 1-800-965-7476 .

People have until March to enroll, but if they enroll before December 15th, their coverage will start on January 1st.
