When someone needs CPR, seconds count. Training for telecommunicators and emergency dispatchers is a critical resource when someone is facing a medical emergency. 911 emergency telecommunicators in Virginia will now be trained in how to give step by step instructions to a person who can help provide CPR until medical help comes. An emergency dispatcher being able to provide instruction on how to perform CPR has saved lives across the country. We are so happy to know that Virginians could be safer now.
Thank you to all of our advocates and supporters who helped make this happen! This is your victory too!
