It’s Time for the Senate to Act!
Congress is scheduled to return to Washington D.C. in the second week of November. Before they went on recess at the end of September the work of the American Heart Association and You’re the Cure advocates like you led to a major step in our campaign to build a Nation of Lifesavers. The House of Representatives unanimously passed the HEARTS Act. The HEARTS Act is a bill that would improve the chain of survival when someone suffers a cardiac arrest in school.

GUEST BLOG: Kern helps father reconstruct lifestyle
Wyoming raised me, and I am very proud of my roots. My platform as Miss Wyoming is to encourage other young women like me to pursue their unique dreams. As an entrepreneur, I own two businesses. Right before the pandemic hit, I started my first business, and my father suffered from what was called the "widow maker" heart attack the same year. Having been allowed to lead and make a difference, I knew I had to share my story with the American Heart Association.
