Advocate Spotlight: Pamela Dell
Just as I was beginning to become overly stir crazy from the "stay at home" order and my high risk condition, a request was presented to share my story regarding my support of the American Heart Association and my efforts to make a difference as a survivor.

Cody and Jami Fitzpatrick
In 2009, when Cody Fitzpatrick was just 5 years old, he slipped under water and was found at the bottom of the community pool he was visiting with family. As 911 was alerted, an amazing bystander jumped into action. Jennifer Turner-Adams, or “Cody’s Angel” as the Fitzpatrick family refers to her, started performing CPR, and continued for an astonishing 15 minutes before EMS personnel arrived. After this terrifying experience Cody and his mom, Jami, decided they wanted to ensure that as many people as possible had the ability to perform this life saving skill, and they began working with the AHA to help train as many people as possible.

The Power of the Patient’s Voice - Elaine Grossaint
Last fall I was given the honor of attending the Rally for Medical Research in Washington DC by the American Heart Association. It was the 5th year that the Rally for Medical Research has taken place, bringing experts from over 300 different health associations together from across the country.

Advocate Highlight - Craig Miller
My adventure with cardiac disease is not one that everyone reading this will experience. It's 2017 and looking back I truly feel like a survivor. I have had seven stents, one robotic bypass and suffered a Transient ischemic attack (TIA).
