T-CPR in Texas Could Save Your Life

Legislative session is underway in Texas and we're excited to advocate with you to pass House Bill 786 – a bill to ensure all Texas' 9-1-1 dispatchers are trained in the delivery of high-quality Telecommunicator Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (T-CPR). The life saved by T-CPR could be yours or a loved one - so let's get to work!

T-CPR is when a dispatcher coaches a caller through CPR for a cardiac arrest victim as first responders are on their way. It’s an important step, because if CPR is started right away the chance of survival can triple. Right now, not all dispatchers in Texas are able to coach CPR over the phone to callers in need. This is a critical gap and with your help we can make change happen!
