Still, time to be a Virtual Hero!

One thing about the current crisis – it is making all of us think of new ways to do things.

And that is certainly true at the American Heart Association. We want everyone to stay safe and healthy.

Over the years, many You’re the Cure advocates have been individual walkers or members of Heart Walk teams.  This year, our Southern New England Heart Walk is going virtual to encourage heart-healthy activities while staying at home!

On Sunday, May 31st, the Southern New England Heart Walk invites you to wear your best heart and stroke gear, lace up your sneakers and get your walk on where you are!  Hop on your treadmill, walk around your house or your neighborhood, cook a heart-healthy meal, move more, and have FUN – the choice is yours!

As a You’re the Cure advocate, you are used to making change happen.  We will miss seeing everyone in Providence this year, but through the virtual walk, we can still raise awareness of heart disease and stroke and build a healthier Rhode Island!

Let’s do this together – we hope to “see” you at the 2020 Southern New England Virtual Heart Walk!
