The North Dakota STEMI and Stroke Conference concluded on Thursday, May 30th, at the Ramkota in Bismarck.  The conference, presented by AHA Mission: Lifeline, the ND Department of Health, and the ND Stroke System of Care, brought together cardiologists, neurologists, emergency physicians, nurses and nursing administrators, EMS providers and medical directors, and health care providers interested in improving emergency heart and stroke care in North Dakota.  One of the key objectives to the conference was to provide an overview of North Dakota's aggregate Stroke and STEMI systems data to encourage performance improvement and for hospitals and EMS providers to demonstrate the importance of immediate feedback and recognition.  The conference featured an impressive roster of faculty from across North Dakota and the Midwest region.
