State of Obesity

We know that living at an unhealthy weight increases the chances of getting numerous obesity-related diseases, such as type-2 diabetes, high blood pressure and stroke. The Robert Wood Foundation recently updated state specific statistics in their report entitled "The State of Obesity." The report shows that the CT adult obesity rate has steadily climbed since 1990, when it was at 10%, to today where it is over 26%.
