Join the American Heart Association as we work together with advocates from all over New York City to make our home as healthy as it can be!
The American Heart Association has made great strides in advocating for changes that allow New Yorkers to live longer and healthier lives. Now we’re taking the next step to make sure New Yorkers have access to healthy food and the opportunity to live an active lifestyle. Will you join us?
We’re meeting with our New York City Council Members on Tuesday, May 23rd to ask for their support of healthy food access in our neighborhoods, and healthier kids meals. We also want them to support active living opportunities, like better physical education in school and better public space to walk, run, and bike. We can’t do it without you.
When: Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 10 AM to 4 PM
Where: NYC Council City Hall Offices, 250 Broadway, Manhattan
