When I started feeling chest pains last year, I ignored them.  Like so many other women, I was busy with work and with life, and it was easier to pretend the symptoms weren’t there.

It wasn’t until I ended up in the emergency room three weeks later that I realized it was time to make my health a priority.  I knew if I wanted to live, I had to make some changes. I started walking every day and paying attention to what I eat. I’m excited to get healthy again, and I encourage all women to listen to their hearts.
