As a You're the Cure advocate, the easiest way to let your voice be heard on heart and stroke issues important to you during your state's session is by taking action on You're the Cure alerts. Our team will send you timely alerts when your voice is needed at the state capitol. With a few minutes of your time, you can quickly contact your lawmakers via email or phone.
If applicable, we encourage you to take your advocacy to the next level by sharing with your AHA Grassroots Manager your personal story relating to any of our policy efforts and/or any relationships you have with lawmakers. These pieces of information can help open the doors to lawmakers' offices, educate volunteers and lawmakers alike about the need for policy change, and so much more.
