Please note, we will now host these 30-minute calls on the second Monday of each month at 12 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. CT. And the purpose remains the same - to provide you with a behind the scenes look at the American Heart Association's advocacy efforts and to share effective ways to grow as an advocate.

We invite you to chat with us on September 11th at 12 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. CT. We'll speak with Katherine Bryant, AHA Advocacy Consultant, about new public policy efforts underway to improve the Chain of Survival in schools for acute cardiac events. We'll also hear from Meghann Etheridge, whose 13-year-old son thankfully survived cardiac arrest at school because of a well-placed AED and CPR-trained staff.

As a You're the Cure advocate in the Southeast, you can expect to hear more about our policy efforts in your state to improve access to CPR in schools in the coming months. Our September 11th chat is a great opportunity to begin learning about this life-saving effort. Sign up now!
