The American Heart Association, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island and the Rhode Island Foundation recently announced the 2018 Rhode Island PE & Me Contest. The contest invites all students from across Rhode Island in Grades K-5 to design a postcard that highlights why physical education (PE) is important to them. Postcard submissions are being collected through April 27, 2018, and winners will be announced May 11, 2018, with an award ceremony to be held on May 23, 2018 at the Rhode Island State House. The contest will help build support for our PE policy campaign that will ask decision makers to prioritize and invest in effective PE programs in Rhode Island.
