Sugary drinks are one of the leading sources of sugar in the American diet. Challenge yourself to go sugarless by participating in one of the activities below! Show off how you went sugarless by using the hashtag #RethinkYourDrinkIL when posting on social media!

o Kick off the Rethink Your Drink week with a Sugarless Sunday event on Dec. 3rd in faith-based organizations
o Participate in a social media “Day of action,” spreading messages of the health harms of sugary drinks and the need to invest in public health on Monday, Dec. 4th
o Host a healthy taste-testing event (i.e., host fruit-infused water tasting events with participants rating their favorite fruit combo).
o Promote a worksite “water drinking challenge” (to promote water consumption in place of sugary drinks)
o Host healthy cooking demonstrations in your community centers, churches, or community events'
