What does that mean? Quite simply, the AHA is encouraging people to reclaim control of their mental and physical well-being after two difficult years of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Here are just a few examples of how you can reclaim your health:
- Visit our website for tools and resources.
- National Wear Red Day, February 4, 2022: National Wear Red Day is the icon day of American Heart Month. On Feb. 4, wear red and help raise awareness of women’s No. 1 killer – cardiovascular disease.
- Get Social! Spread the Word: Tell us how you’re reclaiming your rhythm in February by posting it to social using #WearRedDay #WearRedandGive and #HeartMonth to help raise awareness that cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer of women.
- Learn Hands-Only CPR
- Eat healthy (the AHA's Heart-Check mark can guide you in the grocery store)
