Reading, Writing, Arithmetic & CPR Training in Schools

The American Heart Association wants all students to receive hands-on training in CPR prior to their graduation from high school. Twenty states have already accomplished this goal. Many NH high schools offer CPR education in a variety of ways, but not all are reaching all their students with this lifesaving skills training. You’re The Cure advocates can become CPR SMART Champions by helping local high schools be recognized as a CPR SMART School. The goal is to identify schools we can help become CPR Smart; putting hands-on training as a graduation requirement into policy, and also gather Success Stories from those schools who have already made this a curriculum standard. Join us in making sure all students leave high school with the skills to perform lifesaving CPR. Visit
