Pulse Oximetry Bill Signed Into Law

Governor Dennis Daugaard signed SB 168 into law earlier this month, which ensures newborn babies in South Dakota will be screened for congenital heart defects before leaving the hospital.  SB 168 enjoyed wide, bi-partisan support throughout its journey through the legislative process.  The bill will take effect July 1st.
