Last week Governor Polis, together with health and education advocates, officially kicked off the YES on EE campaign. By increasing taxes on big tobacco and closing the tax loophole for vape products, we can create a brighter, healthier future for Colorado’s kids.

“Proposition EE is truly one of the best investments we can make in the future of Colorado, the future of our children. I hope you will all join me in working to make it a reality on November 3rd,” said Governor Polis.

Several supporters also spoke at the campaign kickoff, including American Heart Association Advocate Lori Pace.
“I’m particularly worried about my kids experimenting with these dangerous products because far too many people in my family have struggled with heart disease and we have seen the pain and suffering it causes,” said Pace, a Central Park mom. “Predatory marketing by Big tobacco and the vape industry is hard to combat as a parent.”
The American Heart Association is proud to be one of the more than 100 supporters – organizations and elected officials from across Colorado – of this important measure. Together, we will be a relentless force for building longer, healthier lives in Colorado. Join us!
