The Colorado Tobacco Free Alliance, a statewide cooperative dedicated to eliminating tobacco as a threat to the public health, has been working for a number of years to remove roadblocks to local regulation and taxation of all tobacco products. Members of CTFA include Americans for Nonsmoker’s Rights, the American Lung Association, the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids, Children’s Hospital Colorado, the Colorado Association of Local Public Health Officers, the Colorado Group to Alleviate Smoking Pollution, Healthier Colorado, National Jewish Health, Preventing Tobacco Addiction Foundation, and Tobacco21.
