Alisa Northcutt has joined American Heart Association as the State Government Relations Director for Oklahoma.
Alisa offers a diverse set of skills with a background in communications and public relations. She holds a bachelor's degree in agricultural communications from Oklahoma State University and is a self-proclaimed political junkie. Her recent work in helping to advance the public policy agenda at The State Chamber of Oklahoma fueled her interest in the legislative process. A hard worker and passionate perfectionist, she focuses on the bigger picture while delving into strategic solutions to all types of scenarios and issues. Alisa is an Oklahoma native who loves exploring off-the-beaten-path places and spending time with her parents, sister and brother-in-law, and two mastiff dogs.
Outside of work, you can catch her driving all over the state to see family or friends, volunteering at her church, going for walks, trying a healthy recipe or reading a historical book. Alisa loves to travel, and her favorite pastime is taking sunset walks or drives out in the rural parts of the state. Her favorite international trip to date was an extensive tour of mid-central Italy to see her best friend, Bea. She has a passion for making connections and loves making friends from all walks of life and cultures.
