Ohio Courts rules for Tobacco Control

May 20, 2024 —  An Ohio Judge ruled to uphold home rule and stated that the communities that were a part of the lawsuit can continue to enforce their local tobacco control laws. Despite the state legislature passing a bill to strip away any local tobacco control laws, the judge ruled it was against the Ohio Constitution.
