On May 23rd, AHA advocates from all over New York City met with key NYC Council Members to help build support for access to affordable healthy food, healthier kids' meals in restaurants, effective physical education for all students, and helping people identify and reduce high blood pressure. It was an amazing day that will have a positive impact on the health outcomes of millions of New Yorkers.

Our work isn't done though. We will be meeting with more Council Members at their district offices throughout the summer and fall, and we need you to join us. RSVP and we will send you an invitation when the meeting in your neighborhood with your Council Member is scheduled. Be the Cure in NYC!
