The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is once again attempting to roll back school nutrition standards. Its recent proposed rule ignores well-established nutrition science and would allow more sodium, fewer whole grains, and more flavored milk with extra calories, added sugars and saturated fat to be served at breakfast and lunch. These weakened standards put our children’s health at risk. Our kids need healthy, nutritious foods to thrive and to succeed at school. We can’t allow the USDA to weaken critical nutrition standards in school meals.

Please take a moment to submit a comment to the USDA telling them NOT to weaken nutrition standards in school meals!
