North Dakota Woman Advocates the Value of Learning CPR

When Roxy Burnside celebrates the holidays this year, she will be especially thankful that bystanders knew how to perform CPR and use the AED.  Last year, while participating in the holiday lights parade in Fargo, Roxy had a heart attack.  Thankfully, bystanders sprang into action and provided life-saving CPR and knew how to administer the AED.  Those steps saved her life.  Now, Roxy is an out-spoken advocate for everyone to learn CPR - and what better place to learn than in high school.  Recently, Roxy shared her experience in letters to local newspapers, including this editorial in The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead.
