Advocates Get a "Taste of Advocacy"

Thank you to our advocates who were able to come out for a Taste of Advocacy early this month in Albuquerque. It was a great opportunity to learn what the American Heart Association is working on in New Mexico, as well as meet other advocates.

There were more than 20 folks at the "Taste of Advocacy" event at Mykonos Cafe & Taverna on Nov. 2. Advocates had the chance to learn about what the AHA is supporting right now, Paid Family & Medical Leave. Earlier in the day, several more advocates met up with Grassroots Manager Chris Turner for a coffee and another chance to learn what the AHA is doing.
