The 118th Congress has been seated and state and local legislative bodies across the country are beginning their 2023 work. In Washington D.C., your state capitol and in towns of all sizes, relationships matter and can sometimes be the difference between an issue being tossed aside or made a priority.
While the American Heart Association is constantly working to strengthen our relationships with lawmakers, we know that many of you may have relationships with one or more of your elected officials and those relationships can make a BIG difference in the lives of heart and stroke patients across the country. If you have a connection with an elected official, regardless of how strong the connection is, we’d love to hear about it! Whether you went to college with your U.S. Representative, live next door to a member of your Town Council…whatever the relationship may be, we want to know about it because it could help You’re the Cure make an even bigger impact in 2023.
Please take just 1-2 minutes to let us know, who you know! Thanks in advance for you continued help and support for heart and stroke health!
