Happy New Year! Hopefully your 2018 is off to a good start so far. In the final days of 2017, You're the Cure advocates from across New Jersey celebrated a long and hard-fought victory-New Jersey will be dedicating 1% of cigarette tax revenue to anti-smoking initiatives!

This is a huge increase from the $500,000 the state currently dedicates to fight tobacco addiction. Over the past few years, the state has dedicated no funds to prevent young people from smoking, so the Garden State is certainly headed in the right direction!

Although there is still a lot of work to do, we look forward to the opportunities we will have in the new year and beyond to make New Jersey a healthier state for all who call it home.
