Thanks to your help, we were able to defeat multiple bills aimed at reducing funding to the Montana Tobacco Use Prevention Program. One bill sought a 50% reduction in funding but with your help, we were able to stop this bill and keep funding at $6.21 million.

Our other good news is that we were able to secure funding to extend postpartum Medicaid coverage from the current 60 days to a full 12 months. We believe that moms deserve the best care possible after giving birth and that is why we fought so hard for funding this extended coverage for new moms.

While it wasn’t easy, we couldn’t have achieved these wins without your help. Thank you for your support this year and we look forward to continuing our work with your help to build a healthier Montana.
