As you may know, there's been some changes to our team across AHA due to Covid-19 affecting all nonprofits. While we'll miss our former team members, we won't change our commitment to our advocates or to issues that matter most to us all. Our Government Relations Director, Megan Tucker, will be supporting Delaware and continuing our mission to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives. We wanted to introduce Megan to you!
Megan Tucker is the Government Relations Regional Lead for the American Heart Association based in Rhode Island.
Megan holds a BA in Political Science from American University in Washington, DC, and has over 20 years of experience in public policy and advocacy. Megan joined the AHA in 2007 and has been with the organization for more than 13 years.
She has served as Director of Government Relations for RI; Senior Director of Government Relations for RI, NH and ME; and is currently Regional Lead for RI, DE, NJ and CT. In this role, Megan implements the AHA’s policy work in RI and DE, and oversees directors in NJ and CT.

Her previous roles include Regional Manager of Congressional & Public Affairs for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce; Manager of Legislative & Political Affairs for the American Waterways Operators; and Legislative Assistant for the American Farm Bureau Federation.
Megan enjoys hiking with her husband and two dogs. She is also a Zumba instructor and CrossFit enthusiast.
We are so lucky to have her expertise joining us. We hope you'll join us in welcoming Megan to our Delaware team!
