At age 39, I weighed 240 pounds. I was fighting obesity, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. My doctor said if I wanted to live into my forties, I needed to do something about my health. With a leap of faith, my journey began.
I started out with simple steps anyone can do: walking, cutting back on sodas and sweets and eating healthier.
Today, at 53 years old, I feel amazing. After learning to manage my eating habits, I'm now a healthy 129 pounds and have been able to come off some of my previous medications.
I hope my journey can help inspire others to take simple steps that can lead to amazing improvements in health.
