I recently celebrated 11 years as a staff member here at the American Heart Association and have been working on the advocacy team for the last ten. I am super excited to be moving into this role where I can help raise up volunteer voices in support of the important policies that will help improve the heart health of people everywhere.
As a congenital heart defect survivor, I started out as volunteer with the American Heart Association at the age of 10 and I know that we couldn’t do our work without you, our volunteer advocates. I look forward to working with you as we work to build healthier communities together.
Outside of work, I reside in Snohomish, WA with my husband Ryan, our two orange cats Señor and Maui. Together we enjoy watching Auto Racing, cheering on our Major League Rugby Team, the Seattle Seawolves and I compete in weekly bowling leagues and tournaments with my Dad!
If you’d like to chat about what we are working on and how you can help please don’t hesitate to reach out.
