As the new Government Relations Director located in Albany, I wanted to say hi and tell everyone a little bit about myself.

I am originally from Vestal, New York, a small town right near Binghamton. While I liked living in Vestal, when I was considering colleges Albany really stuck with me, and I have been here ever since. I graduated from SUNY Albany and then went on to go to Albany Law school where I quickly learned I did not want to be an attorney in the normal sense. Luckily during this time I was working at a lobbying firm and realized how much I liked advocacy. Prior to joining the American Heart Association, I worked at an environmental advocacy firm as an environmental health associate. Stepping into my new role at the Heart Association is certainly exciting and I am looking forward to learning as much as possible and fighting for public health. When I’m not at work I like to play tennis, travel, and spend time with my extended family who live in Albany.
