May Revenue Forecast is Out and Session is Moving Forward

The May revenue forecast came out earlier this month and while it was expected to be good news the legislature couldn't move forward on certain issues until that was confirmed. We expect to see movement on two of our key issues now that it has been confirmed that the state is in a good place financially.

While we don't have much to share right now on our two priority bills, tobacco retail licensing and funding for the Double Up Food Bucks program we expect the bills will start moving soon. Please keep an eye out for emails from us and message your lawmakers when the time is right. Now that we are approaching the final month of the 2021 legislative session things will start to move quickly.
