Maverick did it! And YOU did too, Wyoming!

Hello Wyoming! I have been writing to you over the past few months asking for your support on pulse oximetry testing for newborns that was being considered by the Wyoming Department of Health and Governor Matt Mead. It is with a happy heart I share with you that WE DID IT! This lifesaving test is now required for all newborns in our state!

Please join me in thanking Governor Matt Mead for signing this regulation that will save lives in Wyoming!

This screening is life-saving and life-changing. I know, because my son Maverick was born with a Critical Congenital Heart Defect (CCHD). Today, I ask that you TAKE ACTION and thank Governor Matt Mead for approving this simple, newborn screening in Wyoming so that together we can save lives!

If you are a soon-to-be parent, know that this CCHD screening will soon be available for your little one and all future generations of our smallest Wyomingites thanks to the action of Governor Matt Mead, the Wyoming Health Department, the Newborn Screening Committee and the hard work of so many advocates like YOU! We banded together and created policy change that will save lives in our great state!

Thank you for your continued commitment to heart-healthy policy in Wyoming! CLICK HERE to send your thank you note TODAY!
