This event heralds the beginning of crucial discussions and decision-making for the state's future. Our anticipated policy priorities for the legislative session include a statewide tobacco retail license, defending against preemption, and cardiac emergency response plans in schools.

Additionally, the American Heart Association gears up for a significant event on February 7th, hosting our annual Heart at the Capitol Day from 9 am to 3 pm. This event, set to take place at Wesley Bolin Plaza just outside the State Capitol, features guest speakers, a chance to meet with lawmakers, and CPR training sessions between 10 am and 12 pm. It's an opportunity for lawmakers to learn life-saving skills and engage with heart health advocates amidst the legislative session. If you would like to RSVP or have questions about the event, please email Kami Sutton-Hieronymus at [email protected] or visit https://www.yourethecure.org/az_lobby_day_2024
