This new law (2017 Wisconsin Act 296) ensures all dispatchers in Wisconsin will be able to coach 911 callers through how to perform CPR while EMS/first responders are en route.

This victory could not have been realized without advocates like you!  American Heart Association volunteers were a part of this process every step of the way - from attending Lobby Day events, testifying in support of the bills, to emailing and calling lawmakers.  Any time we needed help, you stepped up!

Now let's take a minute to thank the lawmakers who supported this legislation and the Governor for signing it into law.  Showing our appreciation is an important step we cannot overlook!  Click here to tell your elected officials you are happy that Wisconsin has stepped up to make sure that all dispatchers are able to talk callers through how to perform CPR!
