On Valentine’s Day, nearly 70 advocates gathered at the Kentucky Capitol to ask lawmakers to make the heart-health of the Commonwealth a priority in the 2017 Legislative Session.

These passionate You’re the Cure advocates met with lawmakers to urge their support for Senate Bill 89, a bill that would ensure Kentucky smokers who want to quit have access to the cessation tools they need to be successful. In addition, they urged support of Senate Bill 78, a bill that would make Kentucky K-12 school campuses 100% smoke-free. Even if you couldn’t join us, you can still speak out for a heart-healthy Kentucky!

Thank you for being the Cure for cardiovascular disease in Kentucky, and stay tuned as we work to see these bills across the finish line!
