The American Heart Association and the Healthy Choices Vermont Coalition launched a poster contest to find out why kids thought it was important to make the healthy choice the easy choice in restaurants and what they would like to eat in restaurants.

We love the poster by 8-year-old Madelyn Burnham of Shaftsbury Elementary School.

Madelyn's poster shows a happy chef standing on a Vermont covered with healthy food options with fruit covering the top of the state and veggies covering the bottom -- and not a single sugary drink in site!!!

We'd like to see a Vermont that looks like that too! Thanks, Madelyn, and congratulations!
